THE BELLS OF LEOPARDI
The Bells of Leopardi, an interdisciplinary work based on composer's Yehuda Yannay's "Le Campane di Leopardi" develops a series of nested concordances between different layers of the compositional structure, and displays them onto a separate reality, an alternative experience, and potential deepening of perceptions, to become a sister work, related but equal.

Some musical works with texts can be revealed to contain parallel structures embedded in them in the manner of a fractal arrangement. If so, these structures can be displayed both into micro-structural and macro-structural dimensions.
Individual structural levels (formal, rhetorical, cultural, etc.) can be subject to analysis according to different theoretical systems. In the case of fractally endowed compositions, superimposing each level in an helicoidal layering, where each stratum is nested into a larger structure, will reveal concordances and resonances between them. A table arrangement of such helicoidal layering displays the rising and encompassing nature of each stratum.
